C3 Technologies
C3 Technologies is one of Saab’s subsidiaries, and has been granted exclusive rights to Saab’s world leading graphics processing technique for the private market. This technique enables fully automatic creation of realistic 3D models of cities based on aerial photos, which makes production much faster and more cost efficient compared to traditional methods. These models have been launched in Sweden by hitta.se, and by finn.no in Norway. The technical development is marked by specialist skills in computer vision and image analysis, in close collaboration with the graphics processing department at Saab.

As expedition C3 is now entering the next phase, there is a need for additional state-of-the-art competence at C3’s development centre in Linköping. Here you will get the opportunity to work with a unique technical solution and change how the entire world sees a map!

Tasks and areas of responsibility
C3 is continuing to expand, and in order to complement the existing group at the development centre in Linköping, we are now looking for senior developers in image analysis. You will get the opportunity to work with a unique technical solution from Saab, and to be able to change how the entire world sees a map! C3 is offering a stimulating job consisting of development of functions and methods for improving the automatic 3D model generation process, management/manipulation of 3D geometry, continue automatic segmentation and classification of buildings, vegetation etc. One challenge is to develop a new function for extracting data from existing models. As the work is mainly customer driven, you will also be managing visual and geometrical improvement in existing models before customer delivery.

As a senior developer…
... your background is in applied physics, computer science or similar, with specialization in computer vision or image analysis. You also have a genuine interest in technology. It is crucial that you have long-standing C programming experience. As you will be working with 3D geometry and 3D modeling, we would like you to have experience in this area as well.

Know-how in connection with one or several of the following areas is considered an advantage: Sensor fusion with image data, 3D reconstruction, feature extraction, lens models and camera calibration, segmentation and classification, robotics, SLAM, ego motion estimation etc.

Your experience in development and your knowledge, as well as being both creative and analytic, in combination with your ability to cooperate with the rest of the development team, is what makes you the right person for this post.
