C3 MAPS
This is what we call our 3D images of cities or other areas. Using our unique technology we create realistic 3D photos which can serve many more purposes than traditional flat maps or aerial images.
Remarkable 3D-feeling
Most people who fly around in a C3 Map for the first time get a remarkably strong feeling of 3D. Instead of having just a flat landscape for orientation, you can now see how rocks, hills and buildings appear along the horizon while you fly. This is because our 3D photos contain much more information than other maps found on the Internet today.
Speed brings possibilities
What’s unique about our technology is the fact that we acquire pictures and make calculations so fast that 3D material of very large areas can be created in stunningly short time. The speed also opens up an alternative to keeping track of all things that change in a map: simply let us make a new photo-shooting flight and you will have a fresh map of the area in a few days.
Precision brings possibilities
For anyone working with maps on a daily basis C3 Maps mean change. Since it is now much easier to determine what the picture really shows, plans can be made with much higher precision for how to use different land areas or places.
We expect to develop applications for a great number of different users:
- Yellow Pages companies
- Municipalities and regional authorities
- Owners of forests, high-voltage cables, farm land etc
- Road managers
- Architects
- Strategic planners
- Map makers
- Tourist agencies
- Marketing agencies
We would very much like to hear the ideas you get when you see our 3D photos. What else could C3 Maps be used for?
